More Than Just a Barn
We know there are lots of great barns to board your horse on the Front Range and appreciate your interest in Noble Reins Equestrian. At NRE we focus on delivering high-quality care, great amenities and a boutique experience. We intentionally limit the number of horses on the property to ensure horses and boarders have plenty of space and opportunity to enjoy their time together. Our owners live on-site, are an active part of the care and management of the facility and are committed to a great environment where horse and rider will thrive.
Once owned by the Disney family, you’ll see mouse ears engraved in the gates of our pipe fencing, large outdoor arena, and indoor arena, as well as the entrances to the heated barns.
Our Care Philosophy
Our care philosophy centers on the well-being of both horses and riders. We believe in creating a harmonious environment where every horse receives personalized attention, proper nutrition, regular health check-ups, and participates in a weekly training program. Our trainers are dedicated to the welfare of your horse and achieving your goals through tailored instruction and supportive training. By fostering a respectful atmosphere, we ensure each rider and horse can achieve their full potential while enjoying a fulfilling equestrian experience.
A few highlights of our care include: daily turnouts in groups of one or two, daily paddock and stall cleaning, feeding four times a day, eyes-on night checks, automatic waterers, heated barns, high-quality barn-stored hay, training programs, and private and semi-private lesson programs.
Meet the Team
Melissa
Leaving the corporate life behind, Melissa fills her days making sure horses and boarders live their best lives at Noble Reins Equestrian. Joking that NRE horses are the one percenters of the equine society, Melissa works closely with the team to feed horses four times a day, maintain waterers and keep the facilities spotless. As owner, she also provides barn tours, manages business operations and lives on site.
Patrick
Patrick, Melissa’s husband, grew up on a farm raising cattle and riding horses since he was a child. While he mostly rides for pleasure now and spends his weekends keeping the facilities in top condition, Patrick gained his love for horses from his father and grandmother/trainer and learning the ropes at a high-end New England show barn. You can find Patrick on the farm evenings and weekends.
Kara
Our trainer Kara Lawley has been a competitive rider for over a decade. She has successfully competed at state-level shows and medal finals throughout her amateur career. As a professional, Kara continues to compete throughout Colorado and coaches the NRE team at local and CHJA hunter/jumper shows. She has a natural talent for starting new riders and fine-tuning the more experienced riders and horses.
Lindsay
A CSU equestrian science major, Lindsay rides competitively on her own horse, Trouble, cleaning, feeding, doing turnout and whatever else needs to be done around the farm. As a long-time equestrian and aspiring professional, Lindsay is happy to share her knowledge and deliver the highest-quality care.
